At Pura, we are dedicated to sustainability and looking after our precious earth. Aside from our choices of aligned brands and in-salon practices, we commit further to sustainability in the following ways:
'Replenish' refill stations with your EverEscents bottles.
"The passionate group driving the initiatives at EverEscents have been encouraging creative thinking around waste reduction for more than a decade. With the increase of single-use plastic polluting our waterways, it is now more important than ever that we do what we can to reduce waste. That is why we have custom designed our bottles to enable you to refill and re-use your bottles rather than disposing and purchasing a whole new product."

Pura is a part of the Replenish initiative, and we offer a refill service from our dedicated refill station. After your initial EverEscents product purchase, you are able to come into the salon and refill your bottle at a discounted rate of 15% off. Not only does this help you save money, it is another way to do your part to help save the environment. The Replenish initiative is solely designed to reduce waste and lessen our impact on the environment by reducing landfill, manufacturing, and transportation.

We are proud to partner with our neighboring beauty salon Blush Boutique as a part of the Sustainable Salons initiative. 95% of salon waste is reused, recycled and repurposed such as the creation of 'hair booms' with the recycled hair that are used to clean up oil spills in the ocean, foils recycled and recreated for us to repurchase or recirculating plastic to create things like furniture and fashion glasses. A $2 green fee is added to your total bill each time you visit the salon which is paid to 'Sustainable Salons' to fund this initiative. We recycle:

In our beautiful space, we serve only organic and fairtrade coffee as well as our very own certified organic tea blends which are purchasable in-salon, where we offer a tea blend package refill service to reduce waste.
Our Salon is set-up to be as eco-friendly as possible, we keep water usage to a minimum, use recycled and biodegradable alternates, and are a paperless salon.
Every little decision we make counts. We value our wonderful earth and we choose to make deliberate decisions to reduce our carbon footprint.
It is our absolute pleasure to align ourselves with the wonderful Charity 'One Tree Planted' by donating $1 from every client visit to the charity to plant one tree on your behalf. $1 = 1 tree planted, so every time you visit our wonderful space, you are planting a tree and contributing to the reforestation of our beautiful Earth.
Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80% of the world's terrestrial biodiversity, as well as absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere.
